If you’ve tried our Sweet Heat Marinade, you know it’s good on just about anything. A definite fan favorite, this sauce sparks taste buds on foods from pizza to meatballs to veggies. We could practically drink the stuff! So today, here’s another great recipe with the marinade from Kristy at Mommy Hates Cooking. A Fab with Five contest submission, this meal is super simple to whip up in a pinch, yet healthy and delicious too!
Saucy Mama Stir Fry
2lb Flat Iron Steak (you can use flank steak or thin sirloin as well)
1 Bag of Frozen Stir Fry Veggies
2 Cups Brown Rice, Cooked
1 Cup Saucy Mama Sweet Heat Marinade
1 Tbsp Corn Starch
Start by slicing the steak into thin slices along the grain. Place these in a cast iron skillet with about 1 tbsp of olive oil and cook thoroughly. Once these are cooked, remove and put on a plate. Pour the stir fry veggies into the skillet with another 1 tbsp of olive oil if needed and cook until soft. Once the veggies are soft, pour in the Sweet Heat Marinade, steak and the cornstarch. Let this simmer until the sauce is well soaked in. Top this mixture over a bowl of rice and enjoy some delicious stir fry.
While we were all preparing our bellies for turkey day, some champions were preparing for the 2011 Ironman Arizona. These first time Ironman finishers are clients of James…one of our employee’s- Natalie’s husband. And when they finished their 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 mile run, they were so awesome as to rep our Saucy Mama and Suzie’s Mustard in a photo. So we want to congratulate them and say “thanks” for the shout-out. You are the sauciest champions we know!
Karen Magnuson, 58, first time Ironman finisher. Loves the mustard. Couldn’t finish without it.
Randy Sebastian, 47, first time ironman finisher.
