As we first announced last month, Barhyte Specialty Foods is excited to introduce “Suzie’s Mustard” in the next few weeks. What we so love about our newest line is the local, community aspect of what goes into making our mustard come to life. Our mustard seed is grown and harvested at Jones and Jones Ranch, which is less than 20 miles from our production facility in Pendleton, OR (check out our video of the our brown mustard seed being harvested this year!). Our mustard bottles are produced just north of our Portland sales office in Battle Ground, WA (video to come soon- stay tuned!), and last, but not least, our labels are made just 3 miles from our sales office! We just love being so close to the source of all our creations. Last week, we were able to watch our Suzie’s Mustard labels come hot off the press from Westmark Industries. Below is a video of our Suzie’s label printing process…it’s a tedious one, but it’s amazing to see how quickly these labels can be ready to go!
